Mortgage and real estate

Your operating know-how is licensable. Borrower files and MLS data are not.

Mortgage companies and real estate brokerages run on process: training, scripts, checklists and years of internal communication. That operating knowledge is what AI buyers want. Regulated borrower data and MLS content stay out, and a typical company still has plenty to license.

The records

What qualifies, and what stays out

We sort this out on the first call, before anything is offered to a buyer.

Usually qualifies

  • Training programs, coaching material and onboarding guides
  • Sales and service scripts, objection handling and email templates
  • Transaction and loan process checklists and SOPs
  • Marketing content your company wrote and owns outside the MLS
  • Pipeline timing and stage data, aggregated and de-identified
  • Internal communications and call recordings, where consent rules allow and identities are removed

Stays out

  • MLS listings, MLS photos and MLS data, even if your agents entered them
  • Borrower personal data: applications, credit reports, income, asset and ID documents
  • Client names, contact details and account numbers
  • Appraisals, title work and other third-party reports
  • Anything restricted by investor, lender or franchise agreements

MLS data usually belongs to the MLS, not the brokerage, and borrower information is covered by federal privacy law. We exclude both by design.

Privacy approach

How your customers stay protected

Starts from operations

We begin with your training, process and marketing records, not your loan or client files. Borrower personal data is never part of a package.

Compliance in the loop

Your compliance officer or attorney can review the scope before anything is offered. We expect that and plan for it.

De-identified and contracted

What remains is de-identified, and buyers sign agreements that restrict use and prohibit re-identification.

How it works

You stay in control the whole way

  • You keep ownership. A license lets a buyer use a copy for a defined purpose.
  • We prefer non-exclusive licenses, so you can license the same records again later.
  • We collect competing bids from several buyers so you are not taking one cold offer.
  • Records go straight from you to the buyer. Utah Data Partners never holds your files.
  • Our fee is paid by you as the client and disclosed in writing before you sign anything. Ask us how it works.
